RESOURCES FOR THE WEEK OF PRAYER
To help churches know how to pray strategically, why to give sacrificially, and how to come alongside missionaries to reach the lost Kentucky WMU, IMB, and NAMB highlight representative families, individuals, ministries, and their people groups during the three annual weeks of prayer.
Whether you are leading an entire congregation or a group of children, your role is critical. Each week of prayer provides stories that illustrate how we are united as we join God in His work. when you pray and give, you support those who extend your outreach from your church to those without Christ. You become apart of God’s story in Kentucky, North America and around the world!
Each church will receive a media or promotional kit, about two months in advance, that includes a planning guide for the pastors and missions leader, videos are available online, suggested timelines for planning and promoting, ministries stories for specific audiences, clip art and other resources.
Kentucky WMU provides materials for your church on a standing order system. When your church signs up receive promotional materials for one of the offerings, we will automatically use that order qty for each missions offering as they rotate throughout the year. You can update your quantity of materials at any time.
Understanding that missions is what believers do to reach beyond the needs of their congregations to witness and minister for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, Kentucky WMU designed the Eliza Broadus Offering® to advance Kentucky Baptists ministry and missions efforts to help people come to know Christ.
