WMU offers ongoing and short-term missions opportunities for individuals and families and through age-level missions groups or churchwide projects through our Compassion Ministries.
Through each opportunity, we challenge believers to develop their personal testimony, grow in their knowledge and skills for evangelism, use practical activities to meet needs, and recognize their individual opportunities to engage in gospel witness wherever they go.

Changers Kids
Changers Kids is a mini-mission trip for children entering grades 4-6 and their leaders. Through mission projects, prayer walking, camping out on a church gym floor, and using a shower trailer, children will learn skills that will prepare them for future mission trips.
Hunger Awareness Day
Hunger Awareness Day allows children’s groups statewide to create awareness and fight hunger on the same day. Join with children across Kentucky in service to others. WMU invites all children in grades 1–6 to participate each year.
Children's Missions Day
Join kids across the country in hands-on ministry in your community for Children’s Missions Day! WMU invites all children in grades 1–6 to participate each year.
Student Changers
Student Changers offers more than just a weeklong mission trip; we want to provide tools and training that equip your students in grades 7-12 for a lifetime of missional living. Participants engage in construction projects, times of worship, and reflection designed to help them encounter and respond to God.
Collegiate Changers
Collegiate Changers offers College Students (ages 18-25) a hands- on missions experience in 1-2 half week sessions at the end of May. Designed to empower nextgen students to see community needs and address them with gospel intentionality, Collegiate Changers equips students to embrace the Great Commission and work out their calling.
Kentucky Baptist Nursing Fellowship
Baptist Nursing Fellowship is an organization for health care professionals to network with others through Bible study and worship; participate in mission/ministry projects; encourage and support one another through prayer; prepare for a witnessing lifestyle and provide information and encouragement about mission careers in the medical field.
Christmas Backpacks
35% of Kentucky’s children live in single-parent homes. Let’s exceed the goal of collecting 10,000 backpacks from Kentucky Baptist churches! Many of the backpacks collected will be distributed directly to children living in poverty in Kentucky, while others will go to needy children in our partner SEND City, Cincinnati. KentuckyWMU partners with KBC on this project.
Adopt-A-Missionary
Do you want an exciting and meaningful boost for your church? Do you want your church or small group to be more involved in missions? Do you want to “get to know” a missionary? Join Kentucky’s “adopt a missionary” program!
Christian Job Corps
WMU Compassion Ministries of Christian Women’s Job Corps and Christian Men’s Job Corps equip women and men, in a Christian context, for life and employment. Through more than 100 registered and certified CWJC/CMJC sites across the nation as well as some international sites, thousands of women and men each year gain hope for their future.

WorldCrafts is making an eternal impact on the lives of artisans around the world as we embrace our mission to develop sustainable, fair-trade businesses among impoverished people around the world. Get involved and bring hope to impoverished people around the world.
